- Pindahkan adonan keatas meja kerja yang sudah dialas baking mat, uleni sebentar, lalu bulatkan adonan, pindahkan kedalam baskom, istirahatkan adonan selama 1 jam atau hingga mengembang 2 kali lipat, tutup adonan menggunakkan serbet bersih.
- Setelah adonan mengembang 2 kali lipat, kempeskan adonan, bagi adonan menjadi 8 bagian, ambil adonan lalu bentuk memanjang, lipat dua dan plintir sehingga membentuk seperti kepang rambut, satukan ujungnya sehingga membuat lingkaran. lakukan hingga seluruh adonan habis.
- Celupkan adonan simit ke dalam campuran air dan madu, lalu gulingkan ke dalam tempat berisi wijen, susun diatas loyang berjarak, diamkan kembali simit -/+ 15 menit.
- Panggang di oven yang sudah dipanaskan sebelumnya pada suhu 200° selama -/+ 20-30 menit (sesuaikan dengan oven masing2), jika sudah kecokelatan/kuning keemasan angkat simit, sajikan untuk teman minum teh/ kopi.
